I was born in Lucknow on the Fifteenth of May, 1976. My father's name is Ashok Kumar Singh and my mother's Niranjana Singh. My father was born on the 7th of June, 1952. He is a mining engineer from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. Born in 1954, my mother completed her B.Sc from SSLNT college in Dhanbad and then went on to do her B.Ed .        My father is working with Coal India Limited, a large Public Sector organisation in India. He was previously posted in Dhanbad were he worked for Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) but has now moved to Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited at Ranchi. Mom is teaching at a school nearby. I guess whatever I am today is because of my parents.
            I also have a younger sister who is presently in her final year in B.Sc at Isabella Thuburne College in Lucknow.
